The Madras High Court today denied bail to Saravana Bhavan Hotel owner Rajagopal in the case relating to the murder of Prince Shanthakumar, husband of Jeevajyothi.

Justice V Kanakagaraj, who dismissed the bail plea, however granted conditional bail to the hotel owner in another case relating to the kidnap of Jeevajyothi. The judge said as per conditional plea, Rajagopal should stay in Cuddalore.

When the petition came up for hearing this morning, Rajagopal ' s counsel submitted that his client was a diabetes patient and was not feeling well and sought the court direction to admit him in a hospital following which the judge asked the counsel to file a petition in this regard.

It may be recalled that Rajagopal was arrested following a complaint filed by Jeevajyothi accusing him of threatening her and her husband.
